How We Cover Players

Rather than chasing every roster transaction, Horseshoe Nation focuses on what a position is actually asked to do within the Colts’ system, and why certain players succeed or struggle in that role. It’s the difference between a name on a depth chart and an understanding of what that name is responsible for on third-and-six.

That said, history matters too. The franchise has been shaped by genuine legends at nearly every position — quarterbacks who redefined the passing game, receivers who became all-time franchise leaders, and defensive players who anchored championship rosters.
